Biography

Ms Tracy-Ann Hyman is a recipient of a Japanese Government scholarship (MEXT). She pursued a Masters in Sustainability Science, majoring in Environment Systems at the University of Tokyo in 2010. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Environmental Management at the University of the West Indies in Jamaica, with a focus on flooding in Small Island Developing States (SIDS). This is viewed through the lens of human-environment interaction and agent-based model simulations. She also has interests in topics related to Urban and Rural Development, as well as Water Resources for the Caribbean region.
